Reading Challenges 2010, Part Three

Support Your Local Library

45/50 books
While the blog that was hosting this challenge is gone I still wanted to report on it.  I have also signed up for the same challenge, hosted by another blogger for this year.  We are voracious readers in this house.  I couldn’t afford to keep myself or my kids in books if we had to purchase everything we read.  Thankfully we have a great library, with fabulous librarians and a huge selection.  Considering we live in a small, conservative city, we are so lucky that we have cool librarians who will indulge BAN’s love for  all things Greek mythology and weird little tween vampire series. While I did not hit my goal it was not for lack of trying.  I wonder how many books I checked out from the library last year.
Reckless (Mirrorworld) Gone The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, 1) Marvel Fairy Tales The Virgin’s Lover (Boleyn)

YA-D2 – The YA Dsytopian Reading Challenge

While I read a lot of dystopian literature this year and have signed up for a regular dystopian challenge for 2010, this quickie challenge ran from October 1st 2010 through to December 19th 2010. I signed up for level 2 which was 2-4 books in that time. And I made it, but just by the skin of my teeth.
