It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

Sadly, today what I am mostly reading is the textbook for the course I am teaching.  Happily, it is about 100% better than the one I used last year.  Probably, it will make little difference to the students who will not read this one either.

As for fun reading here is what my nose is buried in:

Four Sisters, All Queens This Dark Endeavor: The Apprenticeship of Victor Frankenstein City of Bones (Mortal Instruments)

And up on deck:

Mrs. Robinson's Disgrace: The Private Diary of a Victorian Lady Graveminder XVI

  1. I really enjoyed This Dark Endeavor, much more than I was expecting. It’s a very exciting story! I didn’t care for City of Bones the first time I read it, but I reread it this summer for a book club and appreciated it much more. I have been wanting to read Graveminder since it came out. I’ve only read one novel by Marr, but I loved her writing style.

    1. I haven’t really gotten into it yet, but I think that is because so many other things are really pulling me right now. City of Bones is a reread because my tween REALLLLYYYYY wants me to read allll of them. 😉

      Thanks for stopping by.

  2. I’m patiently waiting for Mrs Robinson’s Disgrace from my library, I’m so looking forward to reading that. I hope it’s a good one and that we both like it 🙂

Have a great week of reading!

    1. I just got it in from my library. LOVE my local library. Let me know what you think when you read it.

      Thanks for following!

  3. I feel stuck in professional reading right now…I want to read the books I’m reading but also want to get through them so I can read some fun fiction I have waiting for me. I’m glad you like your textbook better this year!
