Top Ten Tuesday – Santa, Baby

Thank goodness, this week is easy. I am almost finished with grading and I have one more exam to create and then I can start thinking about holiday shopping. I think I am going do my Christmas countdown list again but sadly it will start late so to make it up to you lovelies  some days will have double the pretties. But today is about what books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me.

The Absolute Sandman, Vol. 1

Volumes 2, 3, 4, and 5 too please

Brigid of the Gael

Sadly it is out of Print and there are no used copies around.

The Annotated Brothers Grimm (The Bicentennial Edition)

Because you can never know too much about these tales.

Locke & Key, Vol. 4: Keys to the Kingdom Locke & Key Volume 5: Clockworks

Cause I need to catch up.

The Tudor Tailor: Reconstructing Sixteenth-Century Dress The Queen's Servants: Gentlewomen's Dress at the Accession of Henry VIII (Tudor Tailor Case Studies) King's Servants

What? It is a set!

The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls

It looks amazing and I have not found it to read.

The Wee Free Men (Discworld) A Hat Full of Sky: The Continuing Adventures of Tiffany Aching and the Wee Free Men Wintersmith (Discworld) I Shall Wear Midnight (Discworld)

The Girl needs to read about Tiffany Aching.

I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone

This was the first book I ever put on GoodReads and I still have not read it.

These last two are really wish fulfillment.

A first edition of one of my favorite books, Alice comes to mind.

Since Santa is magic could he make Lev Grossman be finished with the next installment in the Magicians’ universe?

  1. No way! I LOVE Locke & Key!! I’m going crazy because there is such a long hold list at my library for volume 5. I’m also crazy about Grossman’s Magicians. I just got the Magician King audio book for my drive back home. Also, let’s be real, everyone needs a Grimm collection :). I think you are my new blog crush. Thanks for stopping by our list!

    1. Thanks for stopping by. The Magicians is sooooo good. I love libraries but I know what you mean about the wait. 😀

  2. The Absolute Sandman! YES! I want that so hard too, and I keep it in my Amazon wishlist in case it suddenly goes on sale for like five dollars a volume…that’s likely, right? RIGHT?

Amazon has your Brigid of the Gael book, but for 34 bucks, so only if you REALLY want it.

Love all of the graphic novels on here. I should make a list of graphic novels I wish I could get my hands on for a future freebie TTT. 🙂

    1. I tried to picked books that I want but were pricey. A lot of stuff I read I don’t need to ask Santa for but Sandman, Sigh!
      Thanks for stopping by!
